What believers are saying

  • Quince still promotes the division in 2025 and 2026, signaling ongoing strategic relevance.
  • Transportation and critical infrastructure demand supports selling command-center and passenger-experience projects.
  • Ron Birkla’s leadership ties Red Envelope to airports and mission-critical facilities with real budgets.

What critics are saying

  • Red Envelope lost independence in Quince’s 2023 acquisition, limiting employer brand visibility.
  • No 2025-2026 public operating updates signal stalled momentum or a tiny, hidden business.
  • Quince’s core is immersive displays, so Red Envelope’s HR consulting can be deprioritized quickly.

What makes Red Envelope Consulting unique

  • Red Envelope’s 2014 HR consulting practice now sits inside Quince Imaging’s transportation division.
  • Ron Birkla, named in 2023, brings airport AV delivery across JFK, CMH, ALB, and PHL.
  • Quince’s Sterling black-box facility gives Red Envelope demo capabilities few consultants can match.
