Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
  • 6-7 years progressive responsibility with supplier relationships, supplier management processes, financial analysis, related applications and systems experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience with implementation and management of sourcing strategy.
  • Highly-developed communication skills – in verbal, written and graphic forms -- to influence business partners across all levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of collaborating and influencing in a highly matrixed organization across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to translate GPS functional strategies into partnership opportunities.
  • Building and managing relationships with a portfolio of key strategic & core suppliers
  • Activating sourcing decisions and managing the contract and relationships with strategic suppliers with an emphasis on quality, performance, value and service.
  • Ensuring all contractual obligations of the supplier are being successfully achieved and driving root cause analysis and corrective action with the supplier and internal teams to address any performance gaps
  • Identifying and recommending continuous improvement opportunities that elevate the value of the partnership across the Nike enterprise and our suppliers.
  • Leading key stakeholder interactions with GPS and account leadership, listening and assimilating diverse views, to successfully drive to actionable consensus.
