Requirements

  • At least 3 years of provider healthcare credentialing experience, excluding provider enrollment.
Responsibilities
  • Verify and maintain licensing, credentials, insurance records, and other primary source verifications as required.
  • Research updated state and federal regulations and policies.
  • Help develop internal credentialing processes.
  • Use established work systems and methods while maintaining structured workflows and continuously improving them.
  • Manage and assist in the timely resolution of internal and external requests.
  • Enter data and maintain provider information in the company database.
  • Complete provider and facility initial and re-credentialing applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the Credentialing Manager and team, to build quality metrics.
  • Help eliminate errors in work and client deliverables and reduce waste and rework.
  • Help build and support metrics-driven, structured workflows that standardize processes across clients while accommodating unique client specifications.
  • Support incremental improvements and development of the next generation of credentialing.
  • Build subject-matter knowledge, including role-specific and leadership/facilitation competencies.
  • Document credentialing activities and artifacts, keep them current, and train teams appropriately.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Jira, Google Sheets, and Tableau.

Medallion acquires Andros to bring over 1M providers onto AI-native credentialing platform

Medallion has acquired Andros, an NCQA-certified credentials verification organisation, bringing over a million providers across nearly 400 healthcare organisations and health plans onto a single credentialing platform. The acquisition makes Medallion the largest AI-native credentialing platform in the US. Andros, which has credentialed providers for health plans, health systems, provider groups, and telehealth companies since 2013, will gain access to Medallion's AI-assisted features. These include automated primary source collection, AI agents for provider outreach, and real-time status tracking. Medallion will continue serving health plans, health systems, provider groups, digital health companies, and telehealth organisations. Bailey Company served as financial adviser to Andros. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
