About the job

Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience across strategic finance, business operations, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy, including experience in a startup operating role.
  • Experience in a larger, scaling company is valuable.
  • Personal experience leading board preparation, building the operating narrative and metrics, and working with Finance to present an accurate picture of the business.
  • Experience with consequential pricing and packaging decisions and reasoning from usage, costs, customer value, and Sales behavior.
  • Financial modeling rigor, with strong understanding of P&L, customer unit economics, company burn and run rate, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to operate as the sole owner amid high ambiguity, reprioritizing as company needs change.
  • Credibility with Sales, Finance, and Product; comfort speaking directly with customers to test pricing and understand commercial needs while partnering with account owners rather than carrying a quota.
  • Deep curiosity about AI; AI-native fluency is a plus, including current use of AI tools to improve personal work.
  • Comfort working in person five days a week in the SoHo NYC or San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
  • Drive board preparation end to end by building the operating narrative, coordinating inputs and the deck, and clarifying decisions and owners; Finance retains ownership of official financials and investor diligence.
  • Own the commercial and economic side of pricing and consumption, including customer cost-to-serve, margins, packaging, rate cards, deal rules, discounting, renewal migration, and Sales enablement; work with Product and Engineering to operationalize the model.
  • Own revenue and go-to-market decision analytics, including pipeline coverage, quota and capacity scenarios, account economics, and investment tradeoffs; Sales and Revenue Operations retain CRM integrity and the day-to-day sales cadence.
  • Run annual and quarterly company planning, including the operating plan, headcount and target tradeoffs, quarterly business reviews, and plan-versus-actual analysis; track spend, burn, and run rate with Finance and bring resource-allocation decisions to the executive team.
  • Lead selected strategic analyses and cross-functional projects, including strategic-account deal economics, account-based marketing investment choices, build-versus-buy decisions, and pricing experiments; Sales and Marketing retain account and campaign execution.
  • Partner with go-to-market leadership to challenge deals with poor economics while contributing to enablement and helping representatives win appropriate deals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience with enterprise usage or consumption pricing.
  • Experience in a larger, scaling company.
  • AI-native fluency and current use of AI tools to improve personal work.

About the company

Hebbia AI provides an AI-powered browser extension that enhances information search inside long documents, going beyond the traditional Ctrl-F by understanding the context of your questions and highlighting the most relevant passages. How it works: the extension analyzes your query, applies artificial intelligence to interpret context, and then instantaneously marks the most pertinent text within documents you visit, helping professionals navigate large amounts of content more quickly. How it differs from competitors: it focuses on context-aware, document-level understanding to speed up information retrieval, aiming to be about 20 times faster than standard search, and targets knowledge-heavy roles like researchers, analysts, legal professionals, and engineers. Its goal is to become a essential productivity tool for professionals by delivering fast, accurate information access through an AI-powered search experience, with a subscription or licensing model after its private beta.” } ?>

Datasite partners with Hebbia to bring AI analysis to live data room documents

Datasite, an M&A infrastructure provider, has partnered with Hebbia, an AI platform for institutional finance. Shared customers can now analyse live Datasite data room content inside Hebbia, without downloading and re-uploading files. Hebbia answers diligence questions with citations to source documents, flags risks and value drivers, and drafts deal materials. Datasite permissions still control what each user can access. Because the tool works on live documents, analysis reflects the latest versions. Users can also combine data room content with a firm's prior deals, public filings, and market data. The integration is available to Hebbia customers with active Datasite projects.

Hebbia integrates Preqin data into AI platform to streamline private markets research

Hebbia has integrated Preqin private markets data into its AI-powered research platform, providing investment professionals with enhanced analytical capabilities across private equity, venture capital, real assets and private debt. The integration enables users to query and analyse private market intelligence directly within their existing workflows. Preqin maintains comprehensive datasets covering fund performance, investor profiles, deal activity and fundraising trends across global private markets. By incorporating this data, Hebbia aims to reduce operational friction associated with manual data extraction and static reporting. The integration allows investment teams to conduct queries on fund track records, manager performance and capital flows alongside internal documents and regulatory filings within a single platform. This addresses challenges related to data transparency in private markets, where investments often lack standardised disclosure, by providing structured datasets for benchmarking and comparative analysis.
