  • A Proven Track Record: 5-7 years of public relations experience, with a deep passion for pop culture, sports, and consumer brands.
  • Media Relations Expertise: strong, existing relationships with media and influencers and ability to turn connections into coverage; fluent in traditional media, podcasts, and Substack.
  • Strategic & Creative Thinking: mastery at crafting compelling story angles, developing integrated media plans, and optimizing campaigns in real-time to maximize success.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: ability to lead a team, manage complex projects, and work effectively with a diverse range of partners; communication and presentation skills are strong.
  • Unmatched Passion: infectious enthusiasm for the work and relentless drive to deliver results.
Responsibilities
  • Be a Culture Shaper: develop and execute innovative earned media campaigns that place brands at the center of culture, from major sporting events to daily social conversations.
  • Master the Media Game: draft pitches and build relationships with top-tier journalists, podcasters, and snacking bloggers to secure high-impact, authentic coverage.
  • Become a Trusted Partner: serve as day-to-day contact for clients, provide sharp strategic counsel, manage high-stakes event logistics and program interplay to ensure excellence.
  • Fuel Our Creative Engine: participate in creative brainstorms, contribute fresh ideas, develop realistic and accurate KPIs to prove impact and share wins to inspire the team.
  • Mentor and Lead: guide and develop junior staff, coaching them to become top communications professionals and fostering a collaborative, energetic team environment.
