Requirements
- An appropriate credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Five years of clinical experience
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates the activities of the echocardiography staff
- Serves as the technical director of the department ensuring that all compliance, accreditation, and quality requirements are met
- The Cardiac Sonographer Supervisor serves pediatric, adult and geriatric patients
- Work Hours: 0630-1500
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Tech program preferred
