BK Technologies targets $170M revenue and 35% EBITDA by 2030, unveils multiband BKR 9500 radio

BK Technologies has unveiled Vision 2030 targets of $170 million in revenue, 60% gross margin and 35% EBITDA margin, which management says would triple earnings per share to $13 and generate approximately $55 million in free cash flow through organic growth alone. The land mobile radio manufacturer's product roadmap centres on multiband adoption, including the BKR 9500 in-vehicle radio set to ship in the first half of 2027 and a next-generation BKRX platform planned for 2029. The company is also developing BK ONE and BKRplay smartphone-integrated solutions for broadband and interoperability. Management aims to expand beyond its 90% wildland fire market share into Tier 3 public safety, targeting 10% market share from the current 3.6%. Capital allocation will prioritise reinvestment and software acquisitions, with shareholder returns considered only if excess cash is available.
