Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a hands-on technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer Engineer, Field Engineer, or Product-adjacent Engineer working directly with enterprise customers.
  • Professional experience writing Python for scripts, services, extract-transform-load processes, or automation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement workflows, agents, and integrations on Wand for live customer scenarios.
  • Turn one-off builds into reusable patterns, templates, starter kits, and internal tools for other Customer Engineers and Solutions Engineers.
  • Own the performance, reliability, and auditability of shipped solutions.
  • Help customers define technical hypotheses and the accuracy, coverage, latency, and safety criteria required for purchase.
  • Design lightweight proofs, benchmarks, and evaluations for customer data and processes.
  • Set up before-and-after measurements such as time saved, error reduction, and volume handled.
  • Partner with Sales to shape and deliver demos and pilots showcasing agentic workflows, governance, and complex document workflows.
  • Adapt and extend demo environments for recurring use.
  • Join customer calls to explain system behavior and address technical questions.
  • Design and run onboarding plans, training sessions, office hours, and enablement for power users.
  • Instrument solutions for usage and value metrics such as daily active users, weekly active users, agent-hours, and workflow runs, and use the data to guide iteration.
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify new use cases and expand proven workflows.
  • Debug and triage customer-facing issues with core Engineering when needed.
  • Provide customer-ready explanations, workarounds, and follow-ups.
  • Feed recurring issues into platform fixes, documentation, and playbooks.
  • Contribute Python scripts, API workflows, and reference architectures.
  • Document patterns for common use cases such as contract review, research copilots, and support augmentation.
  • Help define and refine internal Customer Engineer processes, including intake criteria, pilot checklists, and demo and pilot templates.

Every ministry and agency in a nation can run sensitive workloads on a single sovereign AI back end, with plaintext never leaving the trust boundary. Wand AI and Protopia AI today announced a partnership to deliver sovereign AI at national scale. The collaboration combines Wand's operating system for the hybrid human and AI workforce with Protopia AI's inference privacy layer, enabling a government or enterprise to run its most sensitive workloads across one shared sovereign backend at full utilization, without exposing data to the infrastructure operator or to other tenants. Real sovereignty requires the entire AI stack to run on sovereign soil and sensitive data. The agentic layer can be sovereign, but the moment an agent sends that sensitive data to a model, that data is exposed in plaintext across the entire serving environment: logs, caches, GPU memory, traces, and runtime infrastructure. That creates a hard national-security problem. Secrets from different ministries, agencies, banks, and critical infrastructure operators cannot safely share the same backend, so the default today is fragmentation, a separate infrastructure stack for each data owner. The result is massive waste: national compute investments sit underutilized because every sensitive workload requires its own isolated environment. At country scale, this "isolation tax" can reach tens of billions in infrastructure spend over time. The alternative is worse: data that is sovereign in name, but not sovereign in fact. The Wand and Protopia AI partnership removes that tradeoff.
