We are looking for an intern to join our Data Operations team for a thirteen-week period lasting from early May to late July. The internship requires 40 hours of on-site work per week. Our paid internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience in

What you will do:

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to aduit and clean up data across multiple systems to increase data integrity across the company
• Technical skills and competency in using data analytics software like DOMO, Excel, etc.
• Communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making or storytelling
• Recognize key metrics and build high-level dashboards to track the progress of the agency’s metrics and its highest priority initiatives
• Problem-solving and analytical understanding for statistics and data
• Identifying trends and generate insights by conducting routine analyses of DVS’ various data systems.
• Aggregate data from various sources to construct streamlined data pipelines and integrate data from multiple systems

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in information systems, computer science, statistics or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
