Requirements
  • Hold a Master's degree or PhD in an IT-related or cognate discipline.
  • Have demonstrated experience teaching cyber security or artificial intelligence subjects at university level.
  • Possess a strong understanding of key cyber security or artificial intelligence concepts and disciplines.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Have current valid work rights for Australia; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Obtain a Working with Children Check; the employer will guide successful candidates through the process and reimburse them.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate engaging learning activities and provide empathetic support to students throughout their online learning journey.
  • Undertake assessment tasks, including marking and providing high-quality, timely feedback to students.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly live online workshops, and participate in professional development to enhance teaching practices.
  • Work with the academic team to contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning practices in the online cyber security or artificial intelligence programmes.
