About the job
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in Finance or a comparable field.
- Good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Good software knowledge, particularly DATEV and Microsoft Excel or comparable programs.
- Careful, structured, and independent working style.
- Strong numerical affinity and a proactive approach.
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively in a team.
- Review, code, and post all accounts receivable and accounts payable business transactions.
- Support payment processing, including domestic and foreign payment transactions, dunning procedures, and master data maintenance.
- Support preparation of monthly and annual financial statements through regular reconciliation of profit and loss and balance sheet accounts, provisions, fixed assets, and accruals.
- Prepare advance value-added tax returns and statistical reports.
- Contribute to the continuous optimization of departmental processes.
- Process collection cases.
- Preferred initial professional experience in finance and accounting.
- Ideally, initial experience with monthly and annual financial statements.
- Openness to learning an industry-specific enterprise resource planning system.
