Responsibilities
  • Investigate cutting-edge technologies, frameworks, and design principles to inform product strategy and innovation priorities
  • Gather, clean, and analyze data to support AI-driven initiatives and digital platform development
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers on requirements gathering, design and architecture documentation, feature testing, and quality assurance for emerging solutions
  • Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, helping validate new technologies and approaches for wealth platforms
  • Translate principles captured in user research activities, persona development, and feedback sessions into solution designs
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across technology, product, and strategy teams to align deliverables with business objectives. Lead knowledge transfer sessions to ensure a broad understanding of the technology architecture across the range of constituents – internal team, partners, clients and program executives
  • Prepare summaries, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and progress to leadership and project teams

Mostapha Tahiri, currently enterprise chief operating officer, will become president of State Street Alpha, with responsibility for Alpha, Charles River Development (CRD), and a suite of innovative platform solutions, reporting to Ron O'Hanley, chairman and chief executive officer of State Street. Alpha is State Street's leading front-to-back integrated platform, bringing together CRD's front-office technology with the firm's servicing, markets, and data capabilities to provide investors with a single platform experience across the investment lifecycle. State Street names Tim Helyar as head of Asia Pacific. Helyar succeeds Lochiel Crafter, who recently retired, and reports to Stefan Gmuer, head of International. 9 September 2026 State Street Corporation today appointed Tim Helyar as head of Asia Pacific, effective immediately, supporting the company's regional growth strategy. Based in Hong Kong, Helyar (pictured) will oversee State Street's Asia Pacific business strategy, partnering with country, functional and business leaders to strengthen governance, deepen client and regulator engagement and accelerate regional growth. He succeeds Lochiel Crafter, who recently retired, and reports to Stefan Gmuer, head of International.
