About the job
- Good knowledge of dispensing processes, including conformal coating, glue dot, and TIM printing; PCBA cleaning; and tooling and fixtures.
- Ability to apply problem-solving methodology, root-cause analysis, design of experiments, PDCA, FMEA, and process capability methods.
- Ability to create and develop dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to analyze failures related to the process.
- Ability to apply process expertise independently and coach others.
- BE in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die Engineering.
- Willingness to learn, grasp new aspects quickly, work independently and take initiative, and give and receive qualified feedback.
- Prepare, validate, and document production readiness for NPI and ECR.
- Coordinate design approval, line build, pre-acceptance, installation, and line release.
- Solve second-level machine downtime issues and provide guidance.
- Solve internal and customer defects using 7QC tools and the PDCA approach.
- Improve processes, including utilization, poka-yoke, and continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate process and customer audits, capability activities, and calibration activities.
- Improve PFMEA, control plans, and first-pass yield.
- Develop new processes and standard templates, and share knowledge internally and externally.
- Benchmark processes, localize solutions, and improve tool life.
- Reduce cycle time and validate improvements using design of experiments.
- Coordinate with development and the lead plant on processes and new products.
- Potential to develop networking skills.
