- You are seeking an operational internship that provides substantial practical experience.
- You are organized, responsive, communicative, and able to work as part of a team.
- You have training in engineering, construction supervision, or architecture.
- You have good knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
- Assist the responsible manager with their duties.
- Carry out quality and safety inspections on the site.
- Coordinate work among the various architectural-trade subcontractors, including partitions, flooring, and ceilings.
- Prepare and verify construction-site plans.
- Participate in site-preparation activities.
- Propose technical solutions and develop cost-effective alternatives.
- Consult specialized companies and critically analyze their bids.
- Participate in selecting subcontractors for the assigned trades, with a reasoned recommendation to management based on site, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Prepare contracts and purchase orders.
- Monitor installation of the assigned trades on site with the supervisor and zone-leader teams.
- Ensure compliance with company safety rules.
- Monitor the finances of the assigned trades and design changes.
