What believers are saying

  • Updata Partners invested $95 million in January 2024, funding hiring and expansion.
  • Sean Dunn became CEO in July 2025, signaling a growth-stage operating reset.
  • July 2026 hiring and 106 employees show continued expansion, not contraction.

What critics are saying

  • Success depends on replacing entrenched Workday and Lattice workflows before 2027 renewals.
  • Quote-only pricing and no free tier slow adoption against cheaper point solutions.
  • If AI features commoditize, PerformYard becomes a replaceable workflow layer.

What makes PerformYard unique

  • PerformYard bundles reviews, goals, engagement, and 1:1s in one AI platform.
  • Its June 2026 Engage AI turns thousands of survey responses into themes.
  • G2’s July 2026 reviews praise its intuitive interface and straightforward goal tracking.
