- Review submission documents to prepare additional information, including loss pictures and summaries, loss stratifications, risk summaries, narratives, online research, and requests for additional client information.
- Select and market risks by line of coverage to markets and negotiate terms and pricing.
- Provide comparisons and illustrations to compare options and support the client presentation process.
- Use automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
- Prepare quotations for agents and answer inquiries from agents, policyholders, and prospects.
- Review requests for cancellations, endorsements, and related transactions.
- Review policies for renewal consideration and remarketing.
- Request additional documentation needed to process applications, endorsements, or cancellations.
- Conduct marketing visits to agents and attend industry events.
- Work with support associates, assistants, and central processing to ensure work is completed accurately and on time, including mentoring and guiding team members working on risks.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Prior exposure to insurance brokerage activities.
- Associated classes or courses and/or an industry license or designation.
