Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, although extensive relevant oncology Field Reimbursement Manager experience may substitute for the degree.
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of oncology Field Reimbursement Manager experience or directly relevant oncology reimbursement or access experience is required.
  • The candidate must understand oncology reimbursement across medical and pharmacy benefit models.
  • The candidate must understand payer policies, reimbursement pathways, billing and coding concepts, prior authorization processes, and appeals.
  • The candidate must translate complex reimbursement information into clear, actionable education for healthcare providers and office staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide virtual account support and targeted in-field engagement across the assigned geography.
  • Travel up to 40% for healthcare provider offices, oncology practices, health systems, academic medical centers, infusion centers, client meetings, conferences, and internal meetings, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Provide education and reimbursement support to healthcare providers and authorized office staff.
  • Deliver reimbursement education and support, identify and escalate access barriers, engage accounts, manage the territory, document activities accurately, and provide insights that improve the provider access experience.
  • Manage virtual and field-based account engagement across the assigned geography.
  • Support priority accounts and situations where in-person engagement provides meaningful value.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Oncology Field Reimbursement Manager, Field Access Manager, Reimbursement Business Manager, or similar field-based reimbursement professional.
  • Experience with buy-and-bill products, specialty pharmacy distribution, infusion therapies, or provider-administered medications.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement processes.
  • Experience supporting prior authorizations, appeals, claims, coding and billing education, and reimbursement-related provider education.
  • Experience working with community oncology practices, large health systems, integrated delivery networks, or academic medical centers.
  • Experience delivering in-person and virtual presentations to healthcare professionals and office staff.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management platforms and field activity reporting.
  • The ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
