Requirements
  • Proven experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, retail, restaurants, or another customer-facing role, with at least one year of experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional phone and email presence.
  • Ability to ask for the sale and follow up persistently without being pushy.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, calendars, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and occasional evenings during peak leasing season.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to walk the property and tour units multiple times daily, including stairs; operate a golf cart; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; sit or stand for extended periods; and work outdoors during tours and outreach events.
Responsibilities
  • Greet walk-ins, answer calls and internet leads, and schedule appointments.
  • Provide information about available rental properties, community features, amenities, floor plans, pricing, specials, and concessions.
  • Conduct property tours and answer questions to highlight the benefits of leasing with the company.
  • Match prospective residents to suitable floor plans and follow up on leads by phone, text, and email.
  • Process rental applications, including income and credit screening, verification, and approvals.
  • Prepare and execute lease documents, addenda, and renewal agreements.
  • Maintain accurate guest cards, traffic logs, conversion data, and records in the property management system.
  • Meet individual weekly leasing, closing-ratio, and follow-up goals.
  • Conduct competitor market surveys and report on pricing, specials, and concessions.
  • Contribute photos, video, and content for social media and listing sites.
  • Support outreach to local employers, referral partners, and neighborhood businesses.
  • Help plan and staff resident events and leasing promotions.
  • Keep models, the tour path, and the leasing office show-ready.
  • Welcome new residents and complete move-in orientations and paperwork.
  • Conduct renewal outreach and lease-expiration follow-up.
  • Take service requests, route them to maintenance, and follow up to confirm resolution.
  • Assist with resident communications, packages, and general office coverage.
  • Walk vacant units to assess market-ready condition before showings.
  • Note curb appeal, safety, and maintenance issues while walking the property.
  • Assist with renewal paperwork, notices, and file maintenance in compliance with Fair Housing law.
  • Support the office team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior multifamily leasing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Yardi, Entrata, Rent Manager, RealPage, or comparable property management software.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements and the Texas Residential Landlord and Tenant Act.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability.
