Salary Range: 252000 to 308000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)
As the Vice President of Revenue & Performance Marketing, you will build and drive the marketing growth engine for ActiveCampaign. In this role you will help drive our full-funnel performance investment strategy in direct partnership with the CMO, and key GTM partners.
You have extensive experience in developing innovative cross-channel GTM programs in a multiple GTM strategy environment inclusive of self-serve (free or trial), sales led, and partner GTM channels. You can simultaneously drive investment strategy, execution, and continuous optimization with a growth mindset. You are an expert in effectively developing strong and influential relationships with GTM partners - understanding the importance of working hand in hand with our revenue partners to drive alignment, and business performance. You are an effective storyteller with the ability to clearly communicate marketing performance, roadmaps, trade-offs and prioritizations. You understand the importance of working in direct partnership with product marketing, brand leaders, and revenue teams to continuously optimize the customer experience through compelling, timely, resonant, and differentiated creative. You are also an authentic and conscious leader that can simultaneously drive a highly performant marketing team with a builder mindset.
What your day could consist of:
- Managing and leading a high-performing team that you have designed and built
- Working with your brand, product marketing, and revenue peers to not only develop effective GTM strategies, but drive continuous testing and optimization of program investments
- Planning, building, executing, and optimizing prioritized growth programs with our revenue and product partners, effectively helping to meet and exceed business objectives
- Driving a continuous partnership with cross-functional GTM leaders to drive efficient and effective business performance
- Reporting out on marketing performance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Working closely with the CMO and other marketing executives to develop and continuously refine our program/working dollars investment strategies
- Developing integrated and creative campaigns and programs across paid and owned channels
- Helping drive an optimal customer experience throughout all customer touch points, ultimately improving conversion, performance, and brand affinity
- Acting as a culture leader within and outside of marketing, showcasing the ActiveCampaign values in action
What is needed:
- 12+ Years in Marketing and/or related field with 8+ years in people leadership
- SaaS Experience
- MarTech or adjacent industry experience Have led larger and diverse marketing sub-teams, inclusive of paid, owned, and partner marketing teams
- Ability to balance a data-informed approach with the art side of the marketing craft throughout the investment and optimization strategies
- A data storyteller - one that not only understands marketing investment performance - but most importantly the impact to both short-term and long-term business objectives
- Expert knowledge of owned and paid channel strategies, and the integration of those throughout the entire customer life-cycle - from awareness to retention
- Superb communications skills across all mediums, and all levels of the organization
- Can skillfully and succinctly communicate marketing strategies, ROI, performance, and trade-offs to all levels of the organization
- Ability to successfully plan, build, execute, and optimize programs with our revenue and product partners, effectively helping to drive the entire ActiveCampaign GTM engine to success
- Drive a mentality of continuous optimization, growth, and performance throughout the marketing team
- Experience in both SMB and Enterprise B2B is preferred
