Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED and high school or post-high-school automotive technician training are required.
- An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Candidates must have strong physical dexterity and stamina and be able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Candidates must have basic computer and internet skills.
- Candidates must demonstrate communication, customer service, problem-solving, interpersonal, safety-orientation, dependability, and professional conduct skills.
- Candidates must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Check all fluids and maintenance-related parts and top off or replace fluids, filters, and parts as required.
- Perform routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance jobs.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness while performing service or repairs.
- Complete required documentation in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Follow shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.
- Help maintain shop appearance and safety standards and support efficient shop operations through inventory stocking and other general functions.
- Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
