Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that teach students foundational skills in a variety of art media.
  • Adapt lessons and materials to meet diverse student needs, including supporting students at a variety of levels in reading scripts.
  • Create a positive and collaborative classroom environment where students are safe and empowered to take risks as they explore theater.
  • Organize and manage data collection processes for monitoring student progress and course effectiveness.
  • Research and implement evidence-based strategies, materials, and tools for theater instruction.
  • Plan and execute creative arts curriculum covering visual arts, theater, music, and other art forms.
  • Cultivate students' appreciation for a variety of art media.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a start-up setting is preferred.
