Requirements
  • A university degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally in an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, process improvement, and problem-solving.
  • The ability to influence without hierarchical authority and build relationships based on trust.
  • Agility, adaptability to operational conditions, and the ability to mobilize people amid ambiguity.
  • Experience leading a significant cultural or organizational change.
  • Fluent French and English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • The ability to simplify complex requirements into concrete and accessible practices.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, monitor regulatory requirements, and track key performance indicators.
  • Lead internal, external, and customer audits; address nonconformities; and follow up on action plans.
  • Manage documentation, prepare management reviews, and deploy best practices.
  • Support local QHSE team members and supervise one or more team members if applicable.
  • Support process owners and simplify requirements for operational teams.
  • Apply change management to encourage adoption of QHSE practices.
  • Train and coach leaders to develop a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Define the occupational health and safety framework, assess risks, and monitor preventive measures.
  • Facilitate the health and safety committee and monitor performance.
  • Coach managers to establish a proactive prevention culture in daily operations.
