Requirements
  • One to two years of experience in facility or event management.

  • Practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building controls, and fire/life-safety systems.

  • Proficiency in facility management software and tools.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, fire/life-safety systems, building envelope, and site grounds.
  • Assign, supervise, and support maintenance technicians, custodial staff, and outside contractors; track work orders and verify quality and completion.
  • Manage the facility work-order system by creating, prioritizing, updating, and closing work orders, and maintain asset and inventory records.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections, document deficiencies, and recommend repairs, replacements, and lifecycle planning.
  • Coordinate vendor selection, obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance and compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Maintain spare parts, tools, and supplies inventory; order materials and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, fire codes, ADA, environmental requirements, and company policies; coordinate required inspections and permits.
  • Respond to and coordinate resolution of maintenance emergencies, including power outages, HVAC failures, water leaks, and safety hazards, including after-hours on-call duties as required.
  • Assist with capital projects, office moves, and facility improvement initiatives; act as liaison with key internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and report on response times, uptime, and maintenance costs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, service records, and safety logs; develop and update the preventive maintenance schedule.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or a similar credential.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish.
  • Experience in management and logistics.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
