About the job
- A valid Medical Assistant certification is required.
- One to two years of clinical management or medical experience is preferred.
- Strong awareness of medical terminology is required.
- The position requires excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- The position requires a strong commitment to patient care.
- Administer misting therapy to wound patients in their homes five days per week.
- Order medical supplies.
- Scribe for doctors.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Perform chart checks to evaluate stalled wounds for existing patients.
- Coordinate skin sweep scheduling.
- Scribe for skin sweeps.
- Make initial assessment calls.
