High Speed Guard Engineer
About the job
- A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and six or more years of applicable experience.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Experience with EverFox High Speed Guards.
- A TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.
- Collect requirements from stakeholders and determine the best implementation solution.
- Schedule and attend Technical Exchange Meetings to discuss and whiteboard design and implementation details.
- Coordinate the implementation approach and timeline with technical and project management staff.
- Respond to and resolve service outages, technical queries, and other system-related issues.
- Install firmware updates on physical hardware components, including DellEMC systems, storage area networks, and switches.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of Everfox/Forcepoint products.
- Engineer, design, and implement High Speed Guard rulesets.
- Experience working with Cross Domain Solutions and operationally supporting Cross Domain Solutions.
- Experience developing systems, products, and/or processes based on a total systems perspective.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts.
