Requirements
  • A doctoral degree in a clinical field, such as an MD, PsyD, or PhD, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience, including training, after completing a doctoral degree, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in suicide prevention through hotlines or specific clinical work.
  • At least 1 year of experience evaluating artificial intelligence products or developing digital health products.
  • Experience working as a healthcare professional with recognized expertise in suicide and other safety-related areas.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with non-clinical teams, including software design, engineering, product management, regulatory affairs, and research teams.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute projects supporting youth wellbeing and mental health efforts across products.
  • Apply methodologies for evaluating artificial intelligence model performance in mental health safety and quality applications while working with product management, testing, and safety teams.
  • Identify evidence-based practices for youth mental health and psychological wellbeing, and use them to influence product development or refinement.
  • Work across company verticals and product areas to advance youth-focused work.
  • Work with sensitive content or situations, including graphic or upsetting topics or content.
  • Shape the content, design, and execution of products using clinical expertise.
  • Develop intelligent and intuitive tools that improve users’ health journeys.

  • Experience with generative artificial intelligence, including safety approaches.
  • Experience working in complex, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams.
  • Recognition as an emerging leader in youth mental or behavioral health.
  • A demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications or similar relevant writings on suicide and youth.
  • Outstanding communication and people-management skills.
