Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (e.g., DOE Q)
  • Proficiency with business and data tools including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to learn other tools quickly
Responsibilities
  • Supports organizational changes to enhance program efficiency and outcomes; advises on improving the structure and efficiency of energy programs to enhance operational performance
  • Provides Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting and Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis and Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic and Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services in support of the Department of Energy Office of Policy
  • Aligns with Evaluation Support Functional Area initiatives as an Organizational Development Specialist
  • Develops analyses, supports initiatives, and ensures alignment with project objectives
  • Assesses the impact, feasibility, and outcomes of energy programs and policies using qualitative and quantitative methods
