  • Proficiency with Google Suite applications, including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, attention-to-detail, time-management, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously within established procedures, set priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Ability to retain and recall detailed information and move efficiently through assigned workloads.
  • Ability to comprehend information clearly over the telephone and use general office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and copy machines.
  • Business-appropriate conduct and grammar.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies weighing less than 20 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to create documents and reports, enter and locate information on a computer, visually verify or read information, and sit for extended periods.
  • High school diploma.
  • Two to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be located in or near Columbus, Ohio and physically present in the office as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with the Board of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers regarding community needs, requests, and action items.
  • Support multiple Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Attend and facilitate Board of Directors, annual, and special meetings, including evening meetings when required.
  • Prepare meeting material packets.
  • Create budgets for communities in the portfolio.
  • Obtain and negotiate vendor contracts, including landscaping and maintenance contracts.
  • Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with Homeowner’s Association documentation.
  • Review, interpret, and answer questions about financial documents.
  • Assist clients and homeowners with concerns and questions involving maintenance, accounting, violations, statements, and other community issues.
  • Document and retain communications between community board members, vendors, and support teams.
  • Research and obtain information to resolve homeowners’ needs.
  • Follow up on requests made to the agent by homeowners.
  • File paperwork and perform other assigned tasks.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior Homeowner’s Association experience.
  • General understanding of Homeowner’s Association documents.
  • Community Associations Institute designations such as CMCA, AMS, or PCAM.
  • Bilingual ability.
