Requirements
  • Four to six years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend development skills.
  • Experience with Go, Python, React, or similar technologies is especially valuable.
  • A track record of building and releasing high-quality products or features at scale.
  • Experience taking ownership from design to deployment while balancing speed with maintainability.
  • Ability and motivation to deepen technical expertise, learn new technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
Responsibilities
  • Build products used by thousands of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams.
  • Take ownership of product outcomes, not just technical implementation.
  • Move quickly and iterate based on feedback.
  • Use modern artificial intelligence tools to accelerate development and experimentation.
  • Own features and projects from idea to production.
  • Contribute across the stack, including frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Balance long-term thinking with pragmatic execution.
