BIM/CAD Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a BIM / CAD Specialist to join our team in our Westerville office. This roleis responsible forcreating, managing, and coordinatingaccurateBIM models and detailed drawings using established mechanical and engineering drafting methods. Theinitialfocus will beon process piping, withopportunities to expand intoadditionalindustrial projects.This position works closely with multidisciplinary project teams to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop andmaintaincomplete andaccurateBIM models based on sketches, specifications, and contract documents provided by project coordinators

• Prepare detailed installation drawings and bill ofmaterials fromthe BIM models using approved drafting standards.

• Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files

• Update models and drawings to reflect as-built conditions

• Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines to integrate project features into unified BIM models

• Interface with project team members to understand and implement project requirements

• Support ongoing project coordination and constructability efforts through effective modeling practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum5+ years of experience with BIM platforms including RevitandNavisworks

• Proficiencyin CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and/orCivil 3D

Knowledge & Experience:

• Understanding of pipe systems, mechanical layouts, and industrial construction processes

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications

• Strong experience with 3D modeling workflows in a construction or industrial environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• High attention to detail and accuracy
