Responsibilities
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
Support stage, lighting, audio, and general event operations.
Perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Follow instructions, communicate clearly, and ask questions when needed.
Maintain professionalism when working with team members, clients, and the public.
Travel to event sites.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in theater, festivals, concerts, warehouse work, or event production.
Basic technical skills such as carpentry, lighting, audio, audiovisual production, or rigging.
Comfort driving vans or small box trucks.
A clean driving record is preferred for driving roles.
Flyspace Productions is a full-service, woman-owned event management and production company. We produce some of the largest festivals and live events in the region, along with private, corporate, and community events. Our Production Department provides concert audio, lighting, rigging, staging, and one of the largest fleets of Stageline Mobile Stages on the East Coast. Our Events Department supports event management and logistics, festival production, and brand activations.
We are seeking Event Operations Assistants to work with us throughout the summer festival season and beyond. This position supports a wide range of event and production work, including general labor, site coordination, and event logistics. What We’re Looking For:

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable driving vans or small box trucks
Hourly, non-exempt position. Pay starts at $17/hr, with opportunities for higher rates based on experience and technical skills.
