Responsibilities
  • Lead Filing: Own and manage the Ethos portion of the filing process for policy forms and applications, ensuring speed, compliance, and quality
  • Inform Product Development Strategy: Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance, and carrier partners to refine product features and applications that balance innovation with regulatory standards
  • Optimize Application Design: Provide expert guidance on bracketing, reflexive questions, and variability, enabling flexible yet compliant product offerings
  • Monitor Industry Trends: Stay ahead of regulatory changes and competitor filings, translating insights into tangible strategies and recommendations for product evolution
  • Improve Processes Continuously: Innovate on filing processes by implementing best practices and technology solutions, bolstering efficiency and accuracy

Ethos and Banner Life launch two whole life insurance products in under five months

Ethos Technologies has expanded its partnership with Banner Life Insurance Company to offer two new Ethos-branded whole life insurance products: Simplified Issue Whole Life and Guaranteed Issue Whole Life. The products will be available through Ethos' technology platform, extending the company's final expense solutions to more families. The collaboration moved from concept to market launch in under five months. Ethos now offers 12 products through its platform, working with carriers including Banner Life, TruStage Financial Group, Ameritas Life Insurance, Protective, North American Sammons and Aflac. The new whole life products will initially be available through select agencies and aim to help families cover end-of-life and other expenses. Both companies emphasised their shared commitment to closing the US life insurance coverage gap through more accessible and affordable solutions.

Citi raises Ethos Technologies price target to $16 on strong Q4 revenue of $110M

Citi has raised its price target on Ethos Technologies Inc. to $16 from $15, maintaining a Buy rating following the company's strong Q4 results. Carousel Capital has closed a continuation vehicle for Ethos, a national provider of tech-enabled insurance claims investigation and medical management solutions. The vehicle is anchored by Dextra Partners, with Carousel Capital Partners VI making a significant investment alongside. Since partnering with Ethos in 2020, Carousel has supported the company's transformation from a specialised investigations provider into an integrated platform offering comprehensive services. The company and the selling shareholders ‌sold 10.5 million shares at $19 apiece, the midpoint of its targeted range of $18 to $20 a ‌share. The IPO valued Ethos at about $1.2 billion, based on the number of shares outstanding mentioned in its prospectus. Ethos, backed by venture capital firms Accel and Sequoia, said its platform and underwriting engine transform the buying, selling, and ⁠risk management of life ‌insurance, helping customers secure coverage in minutes rather than months.
