Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, or private markets data operations.
  • A deep understanding of private equity and venture capital fund structures, capital call and distribution mechanics, and limited partner reporting.
  • Ability to explain complex processes clearly, train new analysts, and respond to client questions.
  • Ability to navigate change and ambiguity, particularly as workflows and the role of automation evolve.
  • Strong service-level agreement awareness and a track record of meeting tight deadlines with high accuracy.
  • Ability to operate independently and make judgment calls without day-to-day managerial direction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with fund administration or data management platforms is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in client-facing interactions.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for investor services, including capital calls, distributions, capital account statements, and related transaction activity.
  • Oversee service-level agreements for investor services deliverables by monitoring completion status, identifying at-risk items, and driving resolution before deadlines are missed.
  • Act as the first escalation point for analysts with questions about processing, data validation, or client-specific requirements.
  • Train new analysts on investor services workflows, data standards, and client expectations; develop and maintain training materials and process documentation.
  • Engage directly with clients to address questions, resolve discrepancies, and provide updates on deliverable status.
  • Partner with Client Service team members to ensure data is accurate and ready for reporting cycles.
  • Maintain process integrity as workflows evolve, identifying gaps or quality issues as automation takes on more execution and ensuring standards are maintained through the transition.
  • Help shape how analyst responsibilities shift as AI handles more routine work, helping the team adapt without sacrificing accuracy or client experience.
  • Identify patterns in data issues or service-level agreement risk and recommend process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with management on capacity planning, quality reviews, and service delivery feedback.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct experience with capital call, distribution, and capital account processing is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with fund administration or data management platforms is a plus.
