Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, healthtech client success, or Revenue Cycle Management consulting.
  • A demonstrated track record of managing senior client relationships with CFOs, Billing Directors, and Revenue Cycle Management vice presidents within health systems, Accountable Care Organizations, or large physician practices.
  • Deep operational knowledge of Medicare physician billing, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services compliance rules, and care management reimbursement programs, including Chronic Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, Advanced Primary Care Management, and Transitional Care Management.
  • Understanding of enterprise electronic health record and practice-management systems, including Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, and eClinicalWorks, as well as electronic claims data flows.
  • Ability to analyze complex billing datasets and translate them into polished executive presentations, return-on-investment models, and clear strategic narratives.
  • Proven success in a high-performing, high-velocity environment with strong ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and resilience.
  • Ability to design scalable approaches while executing effectively and anticipating future business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end operational management of the monthly billing cycle, including billing data preparation, compliance validation, charge file generation, quality assurance, reconciliation, and client deliverables.
  • Oversee the post-submission process by partnering with clients and their Revenue Cycle Management teams to resolve discrepancies, optimize billing performance, and ensure seamless submission-through-reconciliation workflows.
  • Serve as the strategic revenue-cycle partner to client executive leadership across health systems, Accountable Care Organizations, and large medical groups.
  • Own the financial health and reimbursement performance of assigned accounts.
  • Help health-system partners maximize reimbursement yield from Medicare care management programs using the Phamily platform.
  • Serve as the bridge between client chief financial officers and billing directors, third-party Revenue Cycle Management teams, and internal Product leaders.
  • Serve as the primary Revenue Cycle Management domain expert and strategic partner to client chief financial officers, vice presidents of Revenue Cycle, and Billing Directors.
  • Lead executive financial reviews that demonstrate program return on investment, highlight net collection yield, and showcase the financial value delivered by the Phamily platform.
  • Educate client executive teams on evolving Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations, Current Procedural Terminology coding guidelines, and reimbursement frameworks for Medicare care management programs.
  • Monitor client-level claim submission success and identify operational or clinical-documentation bottlenecks before they cause revenue leakage.
  • Analyze post-submission rejection trends and establish proactive feedback loops with client billing teams and third-party Revenue Cycle Management partners to maintain a first-pass clean-claim rate above 95%.
  • Partner with client billing leaders to streamline end-to-end charge-file submission, clearinghouse handoffs, and electronic claim reconciliation workflows using 837 and 835 transactions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate health-system billing workflows, electronic health record integration challenges, and payer requirements into platform feature enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Directors to identify account-growth opportunities by providing financial evidence of reimbursement yield and operational efficiency.
