Responsibilities
  • Teach 3 credits in the subject area of expertise using teaching practices that have been shown to be effective for first-generation students.
  • Provide an up-to-date syllabus for students.
  • Maintain an engaging and welcoming classroom setting that promotes high standards and inclusivity.
  • Actively contribute to a professional learning community by participating in professional development that promotes pedagogical learning and growth.
  • Be present and available to students on campus during office hours.
Desired Qualifications
  • A doctorate is preferred.
  • Experience working with HEOP students is highly encouraged.
