Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain contacts and partnerships in the community, including with local courts, hospitals, and other referral sources, to increase communication and referral flow among community organizations.
  • Work directly with the intake department to determine which programs and services best fit each client’s needs.
  • Maintain relationships with intake staff, administrative personnel, and external professional groups and agencies.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with media, government, community, and related organizations.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional working relationship with staff and consumers.
  • Bring policy and personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
  • Protect the privacy of clients and persons served in accordance with organizational privacy policies, procedures, federal and state law, and healthcare professionalism.
