- The position is part-time with no required or guaranteed hours.
- Must be able to adapt to new situations, solve problems effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and work productively in a team environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, hang items at or above 4 feet, pack and unpack boxes, label boxes, climb stairs, and carry supplies, items, and moving boxes to and from vehicles, homes, or outbuildings.
- Must be willing to work in cluttered or dirty environments.
- Must have transportation and access to a smartphone for scheduling, timekeeping, and project management.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must undergo a pre-employment background check.
- Must demonstrate compassion and respect for clients and their families.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills and English fluency.
- Must be able to complete tasks in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Must have prioritization and organizational skills and be punctual and attentive to detail.
- Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items.
- Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities.
- Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal, and cleanout.
- Use handheld devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
- Sort, organize, research, label, and handle items for resale.
- Assist buyers during on-site pickup and sales.
- Follow best practices, health and safety requirements, and company guidelines.
