About the job
- Demonstrated project management or coordination experience.
- Fluency in Dutch and German.
- A bachelor's degree in a language-related field, such as translation, literature, or journalism.
- A good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language- and country-specific cultures, known as localization.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiasm for getting things done.
- Passion for customer experience and customer service excellence.
- Problem-solving ability and a creative, innovative approach, with the ability to think outside the box.
- With supervision from the Territory Manager, assign projects to local freelancers or vendors.
- Follow projects through to completion, ensuring they are finished on schedule and meet the highest possible technical and linguistic standards.
- Promptly report linguistic and quality issues, including those related to time, clients, or general process constraints, to the Territory Manager.
- Monitor and stay up to date with regional trends related to changes in technology and creative or technical specifications.
- Assist the Territory Manager with local recruitment, including posting in the local language and contacting universities.
- Conform content, proofread, and perform other linguistic tasks in subtitling software.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
