Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of working experience.
  • Experience with at least one Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) phase and with managing or supporting large investments.
  • Knowledge of related information technology management.
  • Knowledge of project and customer management in a federal civilian consulting environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite products, including SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, project management, stakeholder management, verbal, graphical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide professional client support, exercise judgment and discretion, and work with internal staff, clients, and vendors.
Responsibilities
  • Perform business analysis and capital planning functions associated with the Capital Planning and Investment Control process.
  • Work with investment owners to support compliance with agency standards.
  • Create briefings for investment owners, the client CPIC team, and management on review outcomes, including quarterly scoring results.
  • Create high-impact presentations for senior client leaders.
  • Create and maintain project plans and related documents.
  • Develop and present CPIC training.
  • Work with the client CPIC team on day-to-day CPIC activities.
  • Review and provide feedback on control reviews and business cases in the portfolio management tool and other formats.
  • Provide performance analysis and benchmarking, including developing or enhancing performance measures and metrics.
  • Assist in evaluating and entering monthly investment and project status data into the agency’s portfolio management tool.
