Senior DevOps Engineer
About the job
- Six or more years of experience as a systems and/or software architect, specifically with n-tiered architectures, web architectures, service-oriented architectures, and three or more years of virtualization experience.
- Two or more years of experience with agile development, preferably Scaled Agile Framework, DevOps, and test-driven development, with knowledge of agile project tools such as VersionOne.
- Experience with continuous integration, continuous build, and continuous deployment practices, tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Maven, and Nexus, and related trends.
- Strong system-level troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks.
- Experience with cloud-based implementation and transition to the cloud.
- Experience with source code revision control systems Git and SVN, and experience with the MEAN stack.
- Experience with WebSphere, relational database management systems such as Oracle and DB2, Java, SQL, Eclipse, RAD, Fortify, JUnit, Selenium, Git, Jenkins, Gulp, JSDoc, Gerrit, JSLint, Karma, Jasmine, MySQL, and Node.js.
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent formal training with 12 years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, or equivalent formal training with 14 years of relevant experience.
- An Associate's Degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
- Three or more years of experience in web-based technologies, object-oriented development, J2EE development, and related best practices.
- Three or more years of experience in automation development and quality assurance testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and SharePoint.
- Experience documenting meeting minutes and conducting presentations or training sessions.
- Prior Social Security Administration disability experience.
