Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least one year of experience in a related field.
Must have an up-to-date ServSafe Food Handler Certification or complete it within two weeks of hire.
Must be able to read and interpret safety rules and operating or procedure manuals.
Must be able to communicate with customers and other employees.
Must be able to perform arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Must be able to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must obtain a Class B Gaming License, which is available for a nominal fee subject to a clean background check.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must provide a California identification card, Social Security card, and birth certificate.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear as required by the role; must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and meet the stated vision requirements.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products, and prepare and portion food products before cooking.
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
Prepare and cook various types of cuisine using various cooking methods.
Maintain par levels for prepared food products.
Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary workstation.
Handle all food setups for the Brewery.
Organize and balance the workload for the food-preparation crew.
Work with team members and assist other department personnel with food requests and setups.
Promptly communicate problems or concerns to the Sous Chef or Brewery Executive Chef.
Organize and clean walk-in and reach-in storage units.
Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Brewery Executive Chef.
Desired Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities could include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Education Level– High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
