Neuronetics develops non-invasive brain-stimulation devices for psychiatric conditions, led by the NeuroStar Advanced Therapy system that uses transcranial magnetic stimulation to modulate mood-related brain activity. The NeuroStar device delivers targeted magnetic pulses in outpatient sessions that require no anesthesia and can last from a few minutes to about 30 minutes. The company differentiates itself with FDA clearances for OCD and adolescent MDD, a dual revenue model from device sales/leases and its own network of treatment centers, plus clinician-support programs. Its goal is to broaden neuromodulation use, grow its installed base and approvals, and scale device sales and clinic operations to treat more patients.
