Requirements
  • A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in hospitality and/or tourism.
  • Good organizational skills with strong follow-up ability.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to travel independently.
  • The ability to listen effectively, communicate, and perform diplomacy with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Strategically drive profitable revenue and market-share growth for assigned hotels and the portfolio across MICE, leisure, and corporate business segments.
  • Negotiate related business agreements to secure optimal terms aligned with sales strategies.
  • Work in line with regional guidelines, the business plan, Radisson Hotel Group corporate guidelines, and service concepts.
  • Lead, support, and work alongside internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic commercial projects and activities.
  • Represent Radisson Hotel Group at required meetings and trade shows.
  • Meet regularly with the supervisor to review assigned-portfolio performance, set objectives, and ensure area and market-segment action plans are implemented.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strategies.
  • Create and drive new sales plans within the applicable market segment.
  • Achieve overall sales targets for specific market segments.
  • Implement strategies that facilitate market penetration and increase national and international production.
  • Conduct client inspections to secure or confirm business.
  • Review market analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential, desired rates, and competitive rates.
  • Drive and maintain sales to generate new business-development opportunities and monitor the completion of proactive sales activities and projects.
  • Develop knowledge of each account, its pipeline, supplier management, and strategic focus.
  • Use sales tools and comply with requirements for recording sales activities, requests for proposals, and reporting.
  • Create and use a consultative-selling approach to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, news, and competitor activities.
  • Attend Radisson sales activities and trade shows in key market cities to develop new business and contact established clients.
