Renal denervation system using ultrasound
ReCor Medical develops the Paradise System, a renal denervation platform that uses non-focused ultrasound to treat hypertension. The device delivers ultrasound energy to the kidney region to disrupt renal nerves, aiming to lower blood pressure in patients whose hypertension does not respond well to traditional medications. Unlike catheter-based or chemical denervation methods, it emphasizes a non-invasive ultrasound approach and supports its use with multicenter clinical trials (such as the RADIANCE program) to obtain regulatory approvals. The company's goal is to provide a durable, safe method to lower blood pressure and achieve broad adoption of its device in the global healthcare market.
