IFS Capital closes $59M MSME loan securitisation with DBS and CapitaLand to recycle capital

IFS Capital has launched its first S$79 million loan securitisation programme backed by Singapore real-estate-secured MSME loans. DBS arranged the transaction, with CapitaLand Investment acquiring the entire senior note tranche. The Singapore-listed private credit specialist will sell a pool of loans into a special purpose vehicle whilst retaining mezzanine and subordinated notes. This structure allows IFS Capital to recycle capital into new MSME lending and improve capital efficiency. The transaction marks a milestone for Singapore's securitisation market, potentially improving MSME credit access. IFS Capital operates across Southeast and East Asia, offering working capital, asset-based and property-secured loans to micro, small and mid-size enterprises through offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
