About the job
- Have a Bac+5 qualification from an engineering school or equivalent university education, specializing in computer science, or significant equivalent experience.
- Have more than seven years of experience in Java/Spring Boot and Kafka backend development, or in full-stack development using Java with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Have technical expertise in microservices, hexagonal, or event-driven architectures.
- Be able to build projects from scratch.
- Have mastery of Java, Kafka, and the Spring ecosystem; recent versions such as Spring 3 and Java 17 or later are an advantage.
- Have experience with Angular 18 or later, React.js, or optionally Vue.js.
- Have experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Have experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI/CD.
- Have experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP including BigQuery and BigTable, and Azure.
- Use Docker to package and deploy applications in a DevOps context.
- Know Clean Architecture and software craftsmanship principles, including SOLID and YAGNI.
- Have experience with unit and integration testing, including JUnit, Mockito, Karate, and Gatling for performance testing.
- Have proficiency in Agile methods, particularly Scrum.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Be able to critically assess technical and functional problems and exercise autonomy and initiative.
- Contribute to defining project architectures in support of technical leads.
- Lead and monitor development work, ensuring good practices and compliance with initial recommendations.
- Independently undertake upstream studies focused on research and development and redesigning the architecture of existing projects.
- Contribute to technical responses for pre-sales opportunities.
- Monitor technology developments.
- Conduct proofs of concept and develop complex modules.
- Work in an Agile project environment using microservices, event-driven, hexagonal, and modular architectures.
- Actively contribute to improving software quality through automated testing, code coverage, and Sonar.
- Knowledge of recent Spring and Java versions, including Spring 3 and Java 17 or later.
- Experience with Vue.js.
