Early Childhood Specialist/ Pre-School Soccer Coach
About the job
- Must own reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 45 minutes one-way to class locations.
- Must be able to commit to a 10-week season.
- Must be reliable and punctual for all classes, allowing enough commuting time.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- Prior experience or a strong desire to work in a preschool or elementary school environment is required.
- Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
- Must be able to work with early childhood age groups, ages 18 months to 5 years.
- Must be adaptable on the field to give children and parents the best experience.
- Must pass a state and federal background check before commencing employment.
- Availability must include select weekday mornings between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Represent Soccer Stars in each class by positively interacting with parents, school directors, and children.
- Deliver energetic and enjoyable coaching sessions in line with the Soccer Stars progressive curriculum.
- Report directly to the territory owner on all aspects of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Engage children to help them develop a love of soccer in a fun, imaginative, non-competitive environment.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with school leadership teams.
- Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children during soccer classes.
- Access to state-of-the-art curriculum.
- A branded uniform and equipment are provided.
