Quality Engineer

Experience: 12–18 years in QA/Testing, with 6-8+ years in test delivery leadership managing testing projects, programmes, and teams across BFS (Banking & Financial Services) accounts.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QE delivery for assigned BFS account(s), ensuring delivery commitments, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery, quality, risk, and operational issues.

• Drive project and account-level CSAT through strong stakeholder management, delivery predictability, and proactive issue resolution.

• Lead test planning, estimation, resource management, capacity forecasting, and release readiness across multiple projects.

• Govern delivery through KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, risk management, compliance reviews, and executive reporting.

• Drive adoption of AI-led QE, automation-first, shift-left testing, CI/CD, and Agile/DevOps practices.

• Provide expertise across functional, integration, system, UAT, regression, automation, and non-functional testing.

• Ensure adherence to BFS regulatory, security, audit, and organizational quality standards.

• Support account growth through solutioning, estimations, proposals, and QE transformation opportunities.

• Mentor Test Leads and QE teams, driving capability development and high-performance delivery culture.

Experience & Skills

• 12–18 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Testing, and Delivery Management, with 6–8+ years leading large-scale testing engagements.

• Strong understanding of Quality Engineering services including functional testing, automation, performance testing, test data management, release assurance, and managed testing services.

• Proven experience managing testing programmes across Agile, DevOps, and hybrid delivery models.

• Hands-on experience driving QA Automation, AI-led Quality Engineering, AI Assurance, and CI/CD adoption initiatives.

• Domain expertise in BFSI, with exposure to Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.

• Experience in delivery governance, estimation, workforce planning, financial management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong knowledge of testing tools, automation frameworks, quality metrics, and testing best practices.

• Experience supporting proposals, solutioning, account growth initiatives, and QE transformation programmes.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, distributed teams, and complex delivery environments while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
