Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
  • One to two years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required, including intermediate experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple competing interests while working independently.
  • Strong understanding of general business, financial concepts, and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to summarize results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with key business functions to understand activities driving financial performance and coordinate related inputs.
  • Develop financial models and proactively identify ways to improve existing models and processes.
  • Provide financial support to functional teams across the business to support strategic decision-making and business activities.
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial metrics, provide actionable insights to management, and leverage trends to support forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze past results through variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Support monthly financial reporting by analyzing financial trends against expectations and past performance, and write and visualize key findings in a non-financial voice for organization-wide understanding.
  • Manage and report on rebates and earned discounts as needed.
  • Validate store-delivered pricing accuracy in system output by maintaining variables including product cost, taxability, sourcing fees, and markup.
  • Work with suppliers, Sourcing, and Finance partners to resolve price discrepancies.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Business Administration or a similar field is preferred.
  • Some understanding of SAP, including SAP Analytics Cloud, is a plus.
