What You Will Do
The Owner & Public Sector (O&PS) division, a rapidly expanding part of Trimble, is redefining industries with cutting-edge software, SaaS, and professional services. Our solutions bridge the physical and digital worlds through the power of the “digital twin.” Fueled by strategic acquisitions, O&PS is building something unique, with a focus across North America, including Colorado, Utah, Florida, and Texas.
We’re seeking an Accounting Professional to support our team with month-end processes, drive continuous improvements, enhance controls, and provide valuable insights to Finance and Business Operations
Ensure monthly closing duties are performed by their deadlines, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing and distributing reports.
Have a strong background with Revenue Recognition ASC-606.
Reviews and conducts analysis, reports on discrepancies, and assists with the corrections of the monthly financial statements to ensure the correct statement of financial position.
Performs and conducts analysis of balance sheet and other account reconciliations and supporting schedules, reports on discrepancies and assists in monthly account resolutions.
Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of corporate accounting transactions.
Assist with complex accounting items such as revenue recognition, deferred revenue and unbilled.
Engage in digital transformation initiatives, contributing to testing, analysis, and post-implementation activities.
Leverage AI and systems automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes, setting new standards for operational excellence.
Collaborate with teams across North America, including the Corporate Revenue Recognition team, Corporate Consolidated Reporting team, and Digital Transformation team.
Work closely with data/systems specialists to leverage technology in enhancing accounting processes.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
A BS/BA in accounting or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency with ERPs and other systems such as Oracle, Netsuite, Salesforce
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
A solid understanding of GAAP.
